  17. The V.FP is a V.FAST CLASS modem and NOT V.34 - therefore it'll only connect 
  18. with plain V.FC modems (which there are few of nowadays) or a modem which has 
  19. BOTH V.34 and V.FC  - many do- many don't...

  24. Make sure that you have the newest (last) ROM (type ati3) The newest version 
  25. in 1.000h or 1.000d depending if you have internal or external. ROM upgrades 
  26. are free, if they still have them. Better yet, upgrade to v.34 - unfortunately 
  27. last I knew it was $69 to do that... Call Zoom 800-666-6191. I'm sending my 
  28. Zoom info file to you...
